Employer Branding
Introduction
Employer Brand can be simply explained as the reputation of an organization as an employer and its value proposition to its employees. EVP (Employee Value Proposition) includes all what the organization can offer to employees and what might encourage people to join and or retain. (Armstrong, 2010) .
Employer Branding Procedure.
According to Backhaus and Tikoo (2004), employer branding is a three-stage procedure

that are highlighted Saleforce in branding the company.
Employer branding strategies used by Brandix

Ltd believes that their culture as a complete strategy for promoting the organization
as a considerable place to figure. Brandix’s culture is casual, friendly and
transparent. Main strategy of branding under social value, is Brandix specialize
in development values as a branding strategy (Berthon et al., 2005). On-the-job
training, participation in local and overseas training, coaching and mentoring
sessions, competing performance improvement plans for low performers for skills
improvement, 360 degree feedback, counseling for employee development are some
of the initiatives that are highlighted under development values of Brandix in
branding the organization.
Conclusion
The
employer brand concept is borrowed from marketing. It helps organizations focus
on how they can identify themselves within their market as an employer of
current staff, as a potential employer to new recruit and as a supplier or
partner to customer.

Every organization has a reputation. It could include thoughts about the products, services, leaders, team members, history, and more. Employer brand describes an employer's reputation as a place to work.

Employer branding gives a crisp and clear message about companies to potential candidates. It grows a better company reputation in the minds of candidates as well as existing employees. According to Forbes research (2020) Samsung electronics, Amazon, IBM, Microsoft, LG are the top five World’s Best Employer brands in 2020. Union Assurance awarded as the best employer brand in Sri Lanka in 2020,of 16th Employee Branding awards conducted by Employer branding institute India.
